Relegated Premier League side to sign Liverpool midfielder

Relegated Championship side Swansea City are set to complete the signing of Liverpool under-23s midfielder Yan Dhanda, according to reports .

The 19-year-old has been at Anfield since joining the club’s academy from West Bromwich Albion back in 2013, amid competition from Chelsea for the former England U17s player’s services.

But he is now out of contract this summer after signing a new two-and-a-half-year deal in December 2015.

Dhanda, an attacking midfielder, is said to have undergone a medical ahead of a move to the Liberty Stadium.

Golden Boot winner on the way out of Derby

Derby County’s top scorer Matej Vydra looks set to leave the club this summer for the Premier League according to The Daily Telegraph.

Derby are reported to be looking to slash their wage budget after missing out on a place in the play-off finals following the defeat to Fulham.

Czech Republic international Vydra scored 22 goals in all competitions this season and Derby are said to value their Championship golden boot winner at £8m and rising for the striker

Earlier this year Derby owner Mel Morris said little investment would be made if the club failed to win promotion.

Pompey striker believes defender Matt Clarke will attract Championship interest

Portsmouth defender Matt Clarke is likely to be snapped up by a Championship side says his team mate Brett Pittman.

The former Bristol City forward believes the outstanding central, who signed an extension to keep him at Fratton Park until the summer of 2020, could be off this season.

Talking to the Portsmouth News he said: ‘Having played in the Championship for a few seasons, I know he wouldn’t look out of place there, absolutely not I would say.
