Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are set to compromise over Antoine Griezmann, with the Blaugrana paying Atleti €115million to land the French forward.
Griezmann has a €100million release clause in his contract but it only kicks in in July.
But with Barcelona keen to spread the cost of payments, and with Manchester United reportedly circling for Euro 2016’s top scorer once more, Sport claim the pair have made a pact to sort a deal ahead of the World Cup – as Griezmann wants.
That will mean Atletico ultimately receiving an extra €15million, Barcelona spreading payments to ease their finances and Griezmann heading to Russia with his club future sorted.
