Some shows you watch for the costumes, others you watch for the storylines. And some shows wrap all of that up in a neat little series and throw in an amazing soundtrack, too.

Whatever you’re into, these six shows have beats worthy of streaming long after the final credits roll.

Big Little Lies

This addictive series won an Emmy for its soundtrack and deservedly so. You’ll be humming the Michael Kiwanuka theme song for days – with the rest of the chilled out tunes coming from Leon Bridges, Otis Redding and Sade (…not Adele). Zoe Kravitz’s trivia night version of ‘Don’t’ also makes the cut. Catch up with the first series on NOW TV before Meryl Streep arrives for series two.

Atlanta

Coming from Donald Glover, it would be disappointing if the Atlanta soundtrack wasn’t stellar. Featuring the man himself, the soundtrack also highlights Atlanta’s Yung Bans, Tay-K and a host of underground hip-hop heroes.

Runaways

The newcomer in this list, Marvel’s Runaways has quickly made a name for itself with a dreamy, ‘80s tinged soundtrack, heavy on the synthesizers. Enjoy Bleachers, Glass Animals, Hundred Waters with series one of Runaways, streaming on NOW TV.

OG Gossip Girl episodes were the only way to discover cool new music back in 2007. The first series soundtrack featured Cold War Kids, The Virgins and MGMT, with the show hosting Lady Gaga, Robyn and Cyndi Lauper as guest stars. Oh, and who can forget Taylor Momsen’s band, The Pretty Reckless? XOXO.

Peaky Blinders

The Birmingham brothers have great taste in music. The decade might be ’20s but the soundtrack is all Arctic Monkeys, Laura Marling, The Kills and Queens of the Stone Age mixed with Nick Cave and Johnny Cash. Tune in when you’re feeling moody.

Vinyl

Created by Mick Jagger, it’s no surprise the Vinyl soundtrack is full of rock classics from The Stooges, Black Sabbath and David Bowie. Opening with a stomping bluesy track from Sturgill Simpson and updated with new music from Kaleo and Royal Blood, stream on NOW TV and prepare to feel pumped up.
